There is nothing worse than ordering a ring you’ve fallen in love with, only to find it doesn't fit. At Elara Muse, we want your unboxing moment to be perfect. While you can go to a jeweler, we have designed two simple methods for you to get a professional measurement right from your home—whether you have an existing ring or not.

Here is the most accurate way to find your fit.

Method 1: The "Bank Card" Calibration

(Best if you already have a ring that fits)

Most online size charts fail because of screen resolution scaling. Here is how we fixed it using a standard bank card.

2. Calibrate: Place a standard credit card or ID over the rectangle labeled "Place Bank Card Here" on the first page.

   • On Screen: Zoom in/out until the screen outline matches your real card exactly.

   • Printing: Ensure printer is set to "Scale: 100%".

3. Match Your Ring: Take a ring you already own. Place it over the circles on the screen.

4. The Secret: Find the circle that matches the INSIDE edge of your ring. The black line should be barely visible on the inside.

Method 2: The "String & Ruler" Technique

(Best if you don't have a ring to compare)

No ring? No problem. You can measure your finger directly using a simple piece of string or a strip of paper.

1. Prepare: Find a piece of non-stretchy string or cut a strip of paper (about 1-2 cm wide).

2. Wrap: Wrap it around the base of the finger you want to measure.

   • Pro-Tip: Don't pull it too tight, but make sure it's snug. Also, measure your knuckle size to ensure the ring can slide over it!

3. Mark: Use a pen to mark the point where the string/paper overlaps.

4. Measure: Lay the string flat against a ruler and measure the length in millimeters (mm).

5. Check the Chart: Look at the "Circumference" column in our Size Chart (Page 2 of the PDF) to find your match.

   • Example: If your string is 52mm long, you are a US Size 6.

• Size 6: 16.5 mm Diameter / ~52 mm Circumference (XS/S)

• Size 7: 17.3 mm Diameter / ~54 mm Circumference (M)

• Size 9: 19.0 mm Diameter / ~60 mm Circumference (XL)
